Southwest Gas promotes a culture of giving, employee engagement and integrity on a daily basis. We are always looking for ways to be involved in the community, whether volunteering at charity events, helping rebuild homes for those less fortunate or providing meals during the holidays. The Virtual Museum of Law is an online extension of our physical Museum of Law, located on the third floor of the Bar's headquarters in Atlanta. Visitors to the Virtual Museum will find informational animated videos about famous Georgia and U.S. Visit the Museum.

Wondering what it’s like to be a CASA? Our Orientations are an opportunity to learn more about what it means to be a CASA volunteer and provide time for you to ask questions. This hour long session includes information about the application process, the training and the case support provided to each volunteer advocate.

1. CASAs can check case plan progress at any time anywhere they have an Internet connection. Gone are the days where a CASA had to arrange an appointment with the caseworker to review a case plan, drive over to the DFCS office, and spend time thumbing through 3-ring binders until they found the information needed. – CASA Volunteer Coordinator.

Keep up with DeKalb CASA news and events!

The DeKalb County CASA Program continues to operate virtually and remotely. While we may have limited access to our office in the Courthouse, all DeKalb County CASA staff are available and may be reached by their direct email. Staff email addresses are listed on our website, on the “Contact Us” page. Advocacy Coordinators will continue to “meet” with their volunteers via virtual platforms, communicate with the case collaboratives, and continue to work each and every one of their cases. Volunteer recruitment is also continuing with Virtual Volunteer Information Sessions, interviews, and training.

Should you call the office and leave a message, please understand we are accessing voice mails remotely. Voice mails will be routed to the appropriate staff member and responses will be provided in a timely manner.
